Resolution and frame rate split cleanly. The DJI Osmo 360 records 8K and hits 120 fps at 4K, which is what you want if you plan to reframe a shot after the fact or deliver in a wide format. The Osmo Pocket 4P tops out at 4K and 60 fps for normal recording, enough for standard delivery but with no room to crop in post.

The Pocket 4P answers with 240 fps in Slow Motion mode at 4K or 1080p, and a 12x digital zoom against the Osmo 360's 1x. That makes it the better tool for grabbing distant subjects or stretching a moment out. The Osmo 360 shoots 120 MP stills against 37 MP on the Pocket 4P, but that number reflects a 360 sphere stitched from both lenses rather than a sharper single frame. If you plan to print or crop deeply, the Pocket 4P is the safer bet because it writes RAW files and the Osmo 360 does not.

The Osmo 360 does record 10-bit color with a log profile, so it tolerates more grading before banding than the Pocket 4P, whose bit depth and log support are not published. Neither camera offers HDR video, and the Pocket 4P's HDR status is likewise unlisted.
