Privacy Policy

Short version: KurabeDojo has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no advertising, sets no cookies for visitors, and uses no third-party analytics. We count visits ourselves, anonymously. This page explains the little data that is involved in showing you the site.

What we collect

• Anonymous visit counts. When a page loads, your browser tells our server which page it was, the site that sent you there, how far down you scrolled, how long the page was open, which eBay links were clicked and how fast the page loaded. From the request we add your device type (phone, tablet or computer) and country. To count unique visitors we store a one-way code made from your IP address, browser and the date, which changes every day and cannot be turned back into your IP. We never store the IP address itself, set no cookie, and keep these records for 180 days. They are used only to see which pages are useful.
• Problem reports. If you use “Report a problem”, we store what you wrote and which part of the page it was about, with a one-way code of your IP address used only to limit how many reports one person can send.
• Nothing else you type in. Choosing products to compare only changes the address in your browser; we do not store it against you.
• Server logs. Like any website, the servers that deliver KurabeDojo may briefly record technical request data — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — to keep the site running and secure. These logs are not used to profile you and are not sold.

Cookies

We set no cookies for visitors, which is why you will not see a cookie banner here. The only cookie on this domain is a strictly necessary sign-in cookie used by site administrators in the admin area.

Third parties

• eBay images. Product photos are loaded directly from eBay’s servers, as eBay’s terms require. Your browser therefore contacts eBay, which receives your IP address and browser information.
• eBay links. Links to eBay are affiliate links. Once you click one you are on eBay’s site, where eBay may use cookies to credit the referral. eBay’s privacy notice applies there.
• Fonts. Fonts are served from our own domain; your browser does not contact a font provider.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Because we do not keep profiles and visit counts cannot be tied back to you, in practice this is limited to server logs and any problem report you sent. We do not sell or share personal information.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this changes — for example if we start showing ads — we will update this policy and change the date at the top before it happens, and ask for your consent wherever the law requires it.
